IT Firm Finds Focus on Small to Medium Size Organizations

Founded in 2007 by UNC Charlotte Civil Engineering Grad and Albany area native Andrew Jensen, Creative Visionz IT has established itself as a leading full-service information technology firm in the Capital Region. Today Mr. Jensen announced his company has changed its name to Albany IT to better reflect both the area it serves and the simplicity and reliability of the company’s data solutions.

“In the past 8 years we have had the good fortune to build a strong client base and what we learned in regard to our name is that simpler is better. Something goes wrong – your wireless goes out – you don’t want to have to wrack your brain to think of our name. So beginning today its Albany IT.” Adds Jensen, “I also feel our name should reflect our roots and the area we service.”

Albany IT serves small to midsize organizations in both government and infrastructure as well as business. 2 areas they have extensive experience in are Fire and Emergency and Automotive Dealerships; both of which are considered highly dynamic IT infrastructures with specialized needs.

“We didn’t necessarily seek out these types of organizations, however in hindsight they gave us the knowledge and skill-set to handle anything that comes our way,” Jensen said.

Albany IT offers a wide range of technology and support including computers, servers, firewalls, wireless networks, hosted telephony as well as regular maintenance and emergency support for each.
